Aisling Airmid Bosca Draoícht Ritual Box Set (LIMITED EDITION)

€55.00
sold out

‘‘Aisling Airmid’’ translates to Airmid’s Dream/Vision.

Airmid is the Tuatha Dé Danann Goddess of Herbal Healing. It is said that she holds the knowledge of all the herbs and in this time we are reweaving the fabric of her cloak, thread by thread, fibre by fibre, plant by plant.

This box set is dedicated to her and inspired by the visionary gift of Mugwort (Liath Lus) to support us in remembering ourselves, and our connection with the Earth & Plant Realms. The intention of these magic boxes is to connect us to the lands wisdom & open a point of connection to the Spirit of the Plants. These medicines are optimally used within a ritualistic context.

Aoife hand-harvested and made each one of these sacred medicines herself, in small batches and with lots of love.

Includes:

  • Irish Mugwort Tincture 30ml

  • Mugwort and St Johns Wort Body Oil 50ml

  • Mugwort Hydrosol 50ml (distilled in copper alembic still)

  • Ritual Herbal Cleansing Bundle (with Mugwort and Rosemary)

About Mugwort:

A healing herb that carries ancient wisdom, they who have been sacred upon these lands for thousands of years.

Mugwort, wisdom-keeper and grandmother of the Gaelic lands.

Physically Liath Lus is a bitter aromatic herb who stimulates bile production in the liver, and is a digestive aid. A nervine stimulant, Mugwort calms the nervous system and is known to assist deep rest in those that perhaps suffer with insomnia/restless sleeping.

As a uterine tonic & emmenagogue, it is an ally for menstrual health. It stimulates the uterus (so should never be used in pregnancy) which "brings down the blood", can help a delayed bleed arrive, or taken more regularly, assist in regulating the cycle.

Spiritually Liath Lus enhances our psychic abilities, increasing sensitivity and perceptions between dimensions. Mugwort opens us up to the subtle communication between this world and the other. It can also be a great aid in opening connection with other plants and is an amazing "gateway" plant to deepen plant spirit relationship as a whole. Mugwort is the herb of the visionary, dreamer and mystic. It can expand dreamlife, assist dream recall and as whole further our connection with our dreamscape.

Emotionally Liath Lus (as a digestive aid physically) it's energetic/emotional counterpart supports us in digesting our life experiences. It is the ultimate "process & integration" plant, which can help us to digest previous experiences (that may have been intense) and to fully integrate them so we may live in wholeness. It is a plant that supports feeling, as it taps into the subconscious realms so we may access unprocessed emotions, gently bringing them to the surface to be safely seen & felt.

Mugwort is a powerful people's plant, an ally who is here to help us remember the sacred, the spiritual, and the very real relationship we have with the land and spirit. Mugwort is with me in pretty much every ceremony, helping to protect, cleanse and bless the space.

St Johns Wort/Beath Nua

Beathnua (literally means new life) is a native plant of Éire and surrounding Isles. It is said to be ruled by Leo, and its Latin name is "Hypericum perforatum". There are also other ornamentals that people get confused which are not the same or do not hold the same medicinal value. ‘‘St Johns Wort’’ is a magical and ancient plant which has been associated with having protective powers and may be used in ceremony or ritual.

Beathnua is a plant that lifts the spirit. Simply being in its presence is uplifting. To those who have the pleasure to see this lovely plant ally, its sun-like flowers instill a sense of joy and beauty. It commonly known as a treatment for depression and despite this maybe carrying some truth, it actually has so many other beautiful qualities and actions that often get thrown to the wayside!

it is said that St John's Wort may be an effective treatment with those suffering from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) or season based depression. It brings the light and illuminates our inner sun to shine

Some other relevant great actions of Beathnua;

Nervine sedative - Beathnua is a wonderful ally to support and relax the nervous system.

Vulnerary - it is a fantastic wound healing herb! So a great ally to make an infused oil which could then be made into a healing salve for injuries, in particular injuries to the nerves, insect bites, etc.
